Water atomized iron powder is produced by atomization process and is commonly used in powder metallurgy, welding consumables, friction materials and other industrial applications. It can be selected according to chemical composition, particle size distribution, apparent density, flowability and downstream processing requirements.

Compared with reduced iron powder, water atomized iron powder is often selected when customers need suitable compressibility, particle morphology, alloying flexibility or specific physical properties for their process.
