UFN01 Ultrafine Iron Powder

UFN01 is a nickel-containing ultrafine iron powder grade mainly used for laser welding transition layers, diamond tool matrix formulations and applications requiring high sintering activity, fine particle size and improved diamond retention.

Product Overview

UFN01 is a nickel-containing ultrafine iron powder grade developed for transition layer materials and diamond tool matrix systems. It features an average particle size of approximately 3–5 μm and outstanding sintering activity.

It can achieve densification sintering at around 750℃ with high strength and excellent toughness. UFN01 is suitable for laser welding transition layers at 750–800℃ and matrix formulations requiring solid solution strengthening and improved diamond retention at lower temperatures.
