NAS100 Non-Annealed Iron Powder
NAS100 is a single-stage reduced, non-annealed iron powder developed for oxygen absorber sachets, disposable hand warmers, heat packs and related reactive formulations. It offers controlled chemical composition, suitable apparent density and a fine particle size profile for formulation and production evaluation.
Product Overview
NAS100 is produced through a single reduction stage and supplied without secondary reduction or annealing. It is intended for oxygen absorber and heat-generating formulations where chemical composition, particle size distribution, apparent density and reaction consistency are important.
Its controlled chemistry and fine particle profile, including a -45 μm fraction of 44.10 wt%, can support formulation mixing and reaction-performance evaluation when combined with suitable carbon materials, salts, moisture-retaining ingredients and packaging systems.
The grade can be reviewed according to the target oxygen absorption rate, heating profile, operating duration, powder dosage, formulation ingredients and packaging requirements.
